Configuring the Glacier Messenger User Interface on Android
In order to configure the user interface, select Menu > Settings, and then scroll down to the User Interface section of the menu. From there, you have several options, as shown and described below:
- Theme allows the user to choose whether to use a light or dark theme within the app. For reference, here is an example of using light theme:
- Font Size lets the user select a preferred relative font size used within the app: small, medium, or large.
- The Quick Action option allows the user to replace the default Send button in the app with an alternative action button, which will appear as long as the user is not actively typing something in the message box of a conversation. Options for the Quick Action button include:
- Most recently used
- Take picture
- Record video
- Choose picture
- Record voice
- Send location
